
2025 Annual Meeting Announcement
BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) announces dates of their District and Annual Meetings. These MEC members-only meetings will be held the week of September 15, 2025. MEC holds annual district meetings for Board of Director elections and a large annual meeting to inform members of the co-op’s yearly activities. MEC members can mark their calendars for the following dates:
District 1 Meeting – Monday, September 15 at Mohave Valley Fire Department, 1451 Willow Dr., Mohave Valley, AZ 86440.
District 2 Meeting – Tuesday, September 16 at Bullhead City/Mohave Valley Association of Realtors, 841 Hancock Road, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
District 3 Meeting – Wednesday, September 17 at Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse, 3663 Bullhead City Parkway, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
79th Annual Meeting – Thursday, September 18 at Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse.
Registration for all meetings begins at 5:30 p.m. and convenes at approximately 6:30 p.m. All members must register and are allowed one guest. These meetings are for MEC members only and are not open to the public.
Registered MEC members who attend their district meeting will have the opportunity to vote on this year’s Director incumbents for re-election. To determine which district you are eligible to attend, please visit MEC’s website at https://mohaveelectric.com/about-us/board-of-directors/territory-map/
At the annual meeting event on Thursday, September 18, members will hear CEO Tyler Carlson recap 2024 while looking into the future of MEC. As required by the Bylaws, members will also vote on the Board of Directors approved amendment to the Cooperative’s Bylaws.
Each member and guest will enjoy a meal catered by D’Angelo’s Italian Restaurant. A member gift will also be distributed to the first 450 member-households on a first-come, first served basis. At the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, you’ll have a chance to win power credits and other great prizes.
Members will have the opportunity to explore informational tables for TWN Communications and Arizona Generation & Transmission Cooperatives (AzG&T). MEC staff will also be on hand to share information on the MEC UAV Drone Program, SmartHub® app, the Outage Management System, and more.
Founded in 1946, Mohave Electric Cooperative is a not-for-profit utility providing reliable, cost-effective power to 38,238 members, 45,532 meters, with more than 1,571.95 miles of line spanning areas from Bullhead City to Topock on the west, Hualapai to Burro Creek to the south, and Nelson to the east.
