
Underground Line Results in MEC Outage
Bullhead City, AZ – At 1:07 p.m., an outage occurred for approximately 3,600 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members in Fort Mohave and Bullhead City areas.
An issue with an underground line caused the self-protection automatic system to activate cutting power to 3,600 meters. Underground system issues are difficult to detect. Crews located the issue, made repairs, restoring power to all members at 2:58 p.m.
